Dileepa Manawadu
Dileepa has over 20 years of experience related to education, people development, and learning environments across both the public and corporate sectors.
Her work focuses strongly on human-centred learning, child development, participatory education, and creating emotionally safer and more meaningful learning experiences for children and young people.
She has worked extensively with young people, parents, professionals, and learning communities, while also contributing to higher education as a Visiting Lecturer at the Open University of Sri Lanka in the area of Human-Centred Design for Young People.
Over the past five years, she has also been actively involved in participatory education through Kinder Republic, Sri Lanka’s first democratic school.
Dileepa holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kelaniya, a postgraduate qualification in Social Sciences from the University of Colombo, and a postgraduate qualification in Management from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She also previously worked for eight years at the British Council within the Examinations Division.
Sifaan Zavahir
Sifaan has more than 20 years of experience in leadership development, teamwork, creativity, communication, and people development through his work as a corporate trainer and facilitator.
His work places strong emphasis on collaboration, emotional awareness, experiential learning, and helping individuals and groups develop healthier and more effective ways of learning, working, and relating.
In addition to his corporate training experience, he has spent the past five years working within participatory and child-centred education through Kinder Republic, Sri Lanka’s first democratic school.
Sifaan is an engineering graduate from the University of Moratuwa and also holds a postgraduate qualification in Education Policy.
